The cottage is just a short drive from an array of world-renowned attractions, including Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Clarks Village, Clifton Suspension Bridge, Longleat Safari Park, SS Great Britain, Fleet Air Arm Museum, and the historic city of Bath, which is just a 20 minute drive away. The Old Carthouse amenities
The Old Carthouse is fully-equipped and furnished, offering three bedrooms. Upstairs: 1 super-king-size with en-suite with shower over bath and WC. Downstairs: 1 king-size and 1 bunk bedroom (not suitable for adults). Bed linen, electricity, Wi-Fi and central heating are included.
The downstairs bathroom offers a bath, wet room area and WC. The kitchen/diner is equipped with a cooker, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. The lounge comes with TV. Ample on-site parking is available. Guests are also free to use the shared landscaped garden.
Set in the green pastures of the Chew Valley and surrounded by gently rolling hills, the cottage is adjacent to the Two Rivers Way footpath, and is close to the River Chew which offers game and coarse fishing. The neighbouring fields hold three Bronze Age stone circles which pre-date Stonehenge. Walkers will be rewarded with stunning views in all directions.
Chew Valley Lake is located 2 miles to the west, providing sailing, trout fishing and nature walks, along with award-winning fish & chips!
